On September 15, 2020 CoffeeTalk Events made a covenant commitment to engage in a special relationship with Jill Boddy, Kentucky Baptist Mission Service Corp Missionary. Jill was invited to Lexington where our local group gathered for a "Gotcha Day" Celebration of new relationship. We had a covenant ceremony where we prayed over Jill and her ministry. pledged to support, encourage, pray for, assist physically in her mission projects and financially as we are able.
Our group has done that thru various opportunities. Several traveled to Western Kentucky to assist in a huge community outreach H.R. Ministry sponsors each year. We were able to take 100 Bibles to give-a-way in their ministries. We joined in at the ministry vendor display at Summer Slam...selling t-shirts, giving away Bibles & Sharing Jesus and praying with all that came by. We have sent items for their clothing store, we have sent personal gifts to help Jill feel special and loved. We drove down just to take her to lunch and pray with her. We invited her and a friend to spend a week-end with us for a relaxing get-a-way.
Jill's ministry focuses on redemption, and reentry. H.R. Ministries mentor and ministers at several Kentucky Job Corps campuses, corrections institutions in Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama, and through a community-based thrift store (Joseph's Storage Bin). Jill is a very respected bible study leader, speaker and mentor. She is active in showing and sharing the love of Jesus Christ to those she encounters. During the State KY WMU Annual Meeting Jill was recognized as KY Missionary of the Year for 2023.
Remember to pray for the Holy Spirit to fill, protect, keep close, to use for His glory and give wisdom and understanding, power and strength in her relationship with Him and for Him.

April 20th at our regular scheduled Coffee & Conversation Zoom Gathering meeting we introduced you to Mayette Arana at our virtual "Gotcha Day" Ceremony as we welcomed our International Adopted Missionaries. We heard their testimonies, both daughters sang and played guitar..andd to close out we made a covenant relationship with them to uplift them in our prayers regularly; send notes of encouragement; from time to time send a care package; and as we are able to send a love offering for special needs. Who knows...perhaps we can have a mission trip to join the family on mission sometime...wouldn't that be terrific. Begin now to pray for this family. The oldest daughter, Shamae graduated back in the spring of 2023. She attended school in the Philippines Pray for the ministries, pray for their safety, pray God will meet their all their needs financially, spiritually, emotionally, physically.
May 24th the Arana's got the privilege to fly home to the Philippines for some much earned R & R with family and friends. The visit included getting to watch their oldest daughter ShaMae graduate from the University with a degree in Education. Congratulations from your CoffeeTalk family ShaMae!!!! We are so proud of you. Soon they will return to their ministry in Cambodia. Pray with us for safe travels for the family and lots of renewed faith, strength and excitement for the assignment God has in store for them.
