Meet our Leaders for our Getaway. They each have a special gift from God and will bless you in every way. Start now to pray for them as they prepare. Pray they will be protected from evil and will break all barriers that might hinder them hearing from the Holy Spirit to guide them. Pray they will be given good health that they might focus and be able to hear the voice. Pray for yourself that you will come with expectant hearts and open minds to hear what the Spirit wants to speak to you. It is going to be such a blessed time. Can't wait to see you on the mountain. Our focus for the weekend will emphasize our identity as beloved daughters of God. Tanya will help us understand "Our Worth in God." Brenda's session will lead us to "Embrace Our Royal Inheritance." To close out Liz will show us how to "Live Out Our Identity in Christ."
Join the women of CoffeeTalk Events for a full weekend of Worship, Praise, lots of laughter, maybe a few tears, we will eat, stay up late, make new friends, and enjoy ole friends. It is guaranteed to strengthen your faith and encourage and grow you.
Friday night Leah will lead our Blended Worship to prepare us to hear the message from Tanya's Bible Study...followed by the Southern Gospel/Country Style Concert by Wanda. Following her concert we will show the movie "An Angel's Whisper" by Brandon Lofton featuring our very own Pam Polkey. Pam will have copies for sale at a very good price and will autograph your copy. They will make great gifts, stocking stuffers for Christmas.
Saturday following our morning session with Brenda's Bible Study we will spend the day DOING missions thru 2 different projects. One group will go to a local nursing home and pamper the residents that do not have visitors by pampering the ladies with some painting of nails and the guys will get a special treat too. The second group will take Jesus to the streets of the Paintsville Apple Festival. Once we return our guest Chef's James & Virginia McDonald, Barbourville, will prepare us a lovely formal dinner followed by our special guest Mike James, Lexington that will entertain us with some great laughter and enjoyment of his guitar music and songs and close us with a devotional word. For the dinner if you have dress up clothes please wear for dinner. Put on your bling and dress to the Nine's. If you don't have the glam clothes don't worry...we are just gonna have fun...just wear your best for this special evening.
Liz will close out the weekend. You want to stay to the end. She has a powerful presentation that will keep you moved all the way home.
